About the Restaurant

Picture
The Edinburg Mill Restaurant is a Rustic American style restaurant highlighting local, fresh ingredients.
We have a wide variety of menu items including fresh seafood, hand cut steaks, vegetarian and vegan options.
We use local produce when possible and update the menu seasonally.
The restaurant is located on the lower level of the historic Edinburg Mill, an official Virginia Historical Landmark. The Mill has been a centerpiece of the Edinburg community since 1848. Located next to Stoney Creek this resilient structure has been a saw mill, a gristmill, and a carding operation. Built by the Grandstaff family, the mill was nearly burned down by Union General Philip H. Sheridan in "The Burning" of the Shenandoah Valleys farms and mills. It is one of the few mills along the historic Old Valley Pike to have survived the Civil War and serves as a prominent feature along this scenic route.

In addition to our restaurant, the property houses a museum with exhibits dedicated to the history of Edinburg and the surrounding area. The Mill property is also home of the area's top wine shop: Heritage Mill Wines.

Take the tour of the museum, stop by the wine shop and join us for lunch and dinner during your trip to Edinburg!

I-81 exit 279. One mile from the exit down Stoney Creek and off of Route 11.
